![]() The last time we stayed here before my business trip this the room was exactly what we didn't ask for. Furthermore, I work in a very high level hospitality area and know that you treat each and every single guest with dignity. I chalked it up to the fact that my husband was the Marriott Ambassador but then thought better of that, because she did not know who I was when I walked up. This time I was pretty frustrated at not even being greeted and treated as though a simple pleasantry was just out of Tyesha's wheelhouse. Again, most times it's not great and it's not awful, but it could be a lot better. Mind you it was a nice gesture, I guess? These small Marriott Elite amenities are generally left in the room and come with a little more kindness than yelling at the guest or HIS wife across the lobby to come and retrieve them. So I walked the 50 feet back and she told me to, 'give these to your husband and thank him for his loyalty' it was a box of chocolates. But as I was walking towards the elevators with the rudest taste in my mouth, she called to me to come back. She mumbled something and sent me on my way. I had to then explain that my husband had put me on the room and was coming later. When she returned she again just again demanded my credit card and ID. She left the desk and me to give someone in the lobby area something and left me standing there at the desk several moments. There was no, 'hello' there was no, "good afternoon". My check in before my husband went with the check in at the front desk person, Tyesha, not giving me the simple greeting of any simple anything instead I was met with a 'get your credit card and ID ready I'm busy with someone else and I will be back with you'. ![]() First off, I checked in on the last stay before my husband, a Marriott Ambassador, which does not seem to matter much at this particular Marriott I only say this, because on this particular business contract that I am on, colleagues with less status are upgraded to great big rooms and/or suites and my husband without fail, will get a room by an elevator, ice machine or overlooking the highway, all of which he requests not to have. The last two stays in the past two months have missed the mark in several ways. My husband and I have stayed at this Marriott several times since I have taken a contract with my company that stays here we live in the local area but this is convenient to the airport and the private terminal, as well.
